I think the Tate Modern building being an old power station is a fun concept and fits the contemporary feel that the gallery is going for. Most of the time (with slight exceptions), my idea of a more modern museum features tall rooms with art inside playing with this space; whether that be a whole show that plays with the entire room or a small painting that leaves a lot of blank space on the wall to emphasize the painting more. The shell of this museum being an old power station with its blank walls and rather "boring" look allows a clever juxtaposition caused by the innovative and bold ideas housed in this building.    In a building filled with bold art that is flashy and "weird" to the outside eye, one of the many copies of Duchamp's "Fountain" is the one I was most excited to see; the literal flipped urinal with a signature on it. This was sort of a spit in the face for art and the galleries that hold art at the time; playing with the phrase "we will accept all art!" His desire to show the world how unruly art has become resulted in a piece that has changed everyone's view on art. The majority of the art in that museum would not exist or be socially acceptable TO exist if not for Duchamp and this piece, and that's just pretty cool.
