The street art in London was on top of the list of things I wanted to see on this trip. I had heard about all the wonderful art that covered the streets, but I did not expect just how much there was around. After our tour that we took of the street art around Brick Lane, I noticed all the little street art hidden in every crevice around the city like it was some big game of hide-and-seek. It brings life to an already beautiful city and I wish we had more spots in Kentucky like this.
Mul's street art is truly a marvel to see in persin. His line work is so clean with these pieces and the use of such bright colors make them almost look sticker-like; like they were made using a computer program. I am a fan of this graphic-design-esque painting style and what draws me to street art; the majority of these people are/will not going to be able to display their amazing work into a gallery, so seeing this more graphic design-like work is amazing.
Ilona Szekely: I would also like to see more street art in KY, there are some great murals in Lex and especially in Cincy if you get a chance.
