On the first day of our work immersion, we were each assigned a task. Ate Rachelle taught us how to fold towels, wash items, and hang them one by one. While the laundry was going, I swept the sides and cleaned the bathroom. After that, we were brought back to the salon to learn how to shampoo clients, use blow dryers, section hair, and rinse clients' hair. Sometimes, we assisted with clients, even shampooing them, while being supervised to ensure we were doing it correctly. Afterwards, they would cut the clients' hair, and we would assist again. Then, we swept the floor and mopped to clean it. For lunch, Marichu and I ate outside together. The other three joined us later to eat and rest for a while. When there were clients, we assisted again. After that, we washed and hung the used towels and blue capes. We then returned to the salon to clean and organize the used items. At 5:00 PM, we collected our bags outside, got our signatures, and said goodbye before heading home.
