We arrived at ITech a little before 7:30 AM and, as usual, started our morning routine—sweeping, tidying up, and making sure everything looked neat while waiting for Ma’am Laila. When she arrived, she handed me the keys to the third floor, where our room was, so I went up to unlock it before returning the keys to her. Just when I thought I could settle in, she gave me a task—to check some test papers. I took my time, making sure each one was checked properly. Once I finished, she asked me to call Jonelle to help watch over the blue desk. We sat there, keeping an eye on things, when Ma’am Laila handed us another set of papers to check. It felt a bit repetitive, but we focused on getting it done. When lunchtime came, she gave us the go-ahead to eat but reminded us to return afterward to continue monitoring the desk. After lunch, we went back to our post, keeping ourselves busy with the tasks given to us. The afternoon passed by quickly as we stayed alert for any visitors while making sure everything was in order. Then, at exactly 4 PM, Ma’am Laila gathered us for a group photo to wrap up the day. Just as we were about to head home, Sir Jeric asked us to wait for him in front of the municipal hall. When he arrived, he casually asked how our day went and, to our surprise, treated us to banana cue and kamote cue. We happily ate while taking some photos to remember the moment. Of course, we couldn’t miss the chance to chat and laugh a little before finally heading home, ending the day on a fun and satisfying note.
